Dr. Reckeweg Crotalus Horridus remedy is prepared from the venom of the Rattlesnake. It is indicated for the condition

Bleeding disorders like haemophilia where the blood is black and string like. Passive, dark oozing of blood. 

Purpose of  Dr. Reckeweg Crotalus Horridus:

Eye: 

• Good remedy to absorb the bleeding in the eye 
• Retinal bleeding causing visual difficulties 
• Pain in nerves of eyes as if a cut has been made near the eyes 
• Eyes very sensitive to light from soot lamps 
• Double vision ie diplopia 

Stomach:

• Cancer of stomach 
• Chronic gastritis 
• Vomiting of fluid of dark brown colour 
• Gastritis in alcohol addicts 
• Ulcerative colitis with coffee coloured stools 
• Can't retain anything, constant vomiting with blood and mucus
