About :
Plants belonging to both genus “Vinca” and “Catharanthus” are called periwinkle and they belong to dogbane family. Madagascar periwinkle belonging to the genus catharathus is found all over the world and it very common here in India. It is called nithyakalyani because it flowers daily year round and there are two varieties that are common in India. One variety produces white flowers and the other produces beautiful dark pink flowers. It has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years for treating various diseases and especially it is very famous for it’s use in treating diabetics.

How to Consume :
Morning – Mix 5 gms of powder in 100 ml water, Boil the content for few minutes. once the water gets warm, filter the content and drink it before food. Repeat the same for Evening Dosage after dinner.
To make the periwinkle tea, take the leaves and spread them on a plate and dry them under hot sun and powder it finely. Take the leaves in a plate and sundry till crisp and powder it well in a blender and store. To make the tea, boil a cup (200 ml) of water in a pan and add a big pinch of the powder and let it boil till the extract reduces a little and strain.
