About :
Senna is basically a flowering plant belonging to the legume family Fabaceae. It bears yellow, white and pink flowers. In Asia, it is mostly found in the temperate regions of India.The Cassia plant family has 300 – 600 species of trees, shrubs, vines and herbs with numerous species growing in the South American rain forests and tropics. Many species have been used medicinally and these tropical plants have a rich history in natural medicine. Various Cassia plants have been known since the 9th or 10th century as purgatives and laxatives including Cassia angustifolia and Cassia Senna which is known as Senna. Fedegoso or Cassia occidentalis, is a small tree growing 5 to 8 meters in height which is found in many tropical areas.

How to Apply :
Skin diseases:- The paste of the leaf of Cassia angustifolia is applied along with vinegar to the affected part of the body.

How to Consume :
Morning:- Mix 5gms of powder in 100 ml water, Boil the content for few minutes. once the water gets warm, filter the content and drink it before food. Repeat the same for Evening Dosage after dinner.
Purgative:- The powder of the leaf is taken in a dosage of 1-2 g with hot water in conditions of constipation, abdominal distention.
Blood purifier:- It is given daily in a dosage of 500 mg.
Gout:- The powder of Senna leaf is given in a dosage of 1-2 g to induce purgation.
